The Fundació Suñol is a private non-profit making organization which opens to the public Josep Suñol's contemporary art collection. At the same time, the foundation promotes the encouragement of the production and diffusion of avant-garde art.
The Fundació Suñol hosts temporary exhibitions showcasing parts of Josep Suñol’s contemporary art collection, which consists of more than 1,200 works by artists from Spain and around the world. Its headquarters also hold exhibitions about particular artists associated with the collection and the foundation takes part in projects in association with other institutions.Patricio Vélez. The Fundació Suñol also includes a multidisciplinary space, known as Nivell Zero. It provides a kind of container for small exhibitions, debates, poetry sessions, concerts, conferences and workshops.
The visit to this collection offers a unique knowledge of the most representative artists from the sixties until today.
