The Poble Espanyol has everything you need to get back to the life you enjoy the most: a large, and safe, open-air space covering an area of 40,000 m2. This unique Barcelona attraction opened more than 90 years ago and provides a wonderful showcase of Spanish architecture featuring more than 100 buildings. You’ll also find the Fran Daurel Museum with its collection of contemporary art, multimedia displays of Spanish traditions, giant slides, bars and restaurants with spacious terraces throughout the grounds, where you can have drink and a snack, lunch and dinner, as well as streets and squares which are the perfect place for a pleasant stroll, and cultural and leisure pursuits for everyone:
  • Live music at different venues: rock, pop, rhumba, blues, jazz and DJ sessions.
  • Experience the Catalan tradition of a Vermut Musical and enjoy a pre-lunch drink and snack while you listen to live music.

From the 3rd December to 8th January Christmas is back at the Poble Espanyol, the most wonderful place for families to visit during this festive season in Barcelona!

The entire village and its streets, squares and shop windows will be filled with the Christmas spirit. You’ll be able to visit Father Christmas’s House (until 24th December) and the Three Kings’ House (from 26th December) to hand in your letter in person You’ll also be able to enjoy live music and family entertainments. You’ll also find shops selling local produce and craftsmen and women who will be running Christmas workshops.

When December arrives, the magic returns to the Poble Espanyol, an iconic, open-air attraction and full of things for famlies. Come and feel the excitement and enjoy the most authentic and special Christmas!
