The exhibition of the year comes to the Museu Marítim in Barcelona: “Tutankhamun: the Tomb and its Treasures”, which offers a fascinating glimpse of Ancient Egyptian art and civilisation.

- For the first time in Barcelona you’ll be able to see the funerary treasures of the legendary Pharaoh displayed exactly as they were found by the explorer Howard Carter in November 1922.
- A journey back in time to the mysterious world of Ancient Egypt which combines history and educational content for the whole family.
- The exhibition features:
- A unique, full-scale reproduction of three of Tutankhamun’s four funeral chambers.
- Over 1,000 replicas of burial objects handcrafted by 100 Egyptian artisans using traditional techniques.
- The exhibition includes a free audioguide evoking the golden age of the Pharaohs with state-of-the-art technology.
- Dates and times: 6th June to 4th October 2009. Daily, from 10am to 10pm.
