A flamenco performance combining Lorca's poetry with the music of Enric Granados runs the gamut of the audience's emotions to show the bullfighting world from a new perspective.

The work expresses the magic of the bullfighting world through the most beautiful elegy of all times: “Llanto por Ignacio Sánchez Mejías” (Lament for Ignacio Sánchez Mejías) by the famous poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
The central character, Ignacio Sánchez Mejías, was a fascinating person: bullfighter, poet, successful playwright, sportsman, Don Juan and man of the world. In the words of Federico, there was never a prince of Seville to compare with him.
Flamenco and poetry fill the stage in a performance that plays with the emotions triggered by the music of the Catalan composer Enric Granados and the cult poet Lorca’s wonderful elegy.
In just two years, the theatre company, “Octubre Teatral”, has earned countless standing ovations from audiences and critics around the world.
